Argentina has just secured its spot as world leaders in traceability (beating out all of the EU and US) after reports show a major extension to its pharmaceutical traceability project. A new Indiana law, which becomes effective in June of this year, will penalize truckers who don’t comply with state rules regarding the transport of food. Moreover, the state police department is now authorized to inspect, detain, and impound any truck failing to comply. This is a small victory for food safety.
