IDC Names Acsis a Major Player in the Pharmaceutical Track and Trace Software Market

Posted by John DiPalo on April 28, 2016

IDC recently published its MarketScape: Worldwide Pharmaceutical Track and Trace Software 2016 Vendor Assessment, which named Acsis as a Major Player. The key selection criteria (solution functionality, scalability, solution support and market knowledge) are all areas in which we invested a lot of time and effort. As we built Acsis Edge for Pharma, we focused on two overarching design goals. First, we wanted it to be end-to-end, providing customers with a single solution to take them from the packaging line through distribution. Second, we wanted it to be modular, so customers could deploy serialization in the areas where they had immediate needs and later install additional modules as needed. In other words, get started with the functionality they need today, but also have the ability to extend the solution because all components are built to work together on a common platform.

Being named a Major Player by IDC was strong validation that we have the right approach and that our solution design will allow companies to comply with emerging global regulations and scale over time to meet their long-term needs.
